Korean BBQ Growth & Local Authority Houston, TX

K-Tang.
The Houston K-BBQ, on its own terms.

A traditional Korean BBQ kitchen that didn't want to be the trendy version of itself. We built a campaign that celebrated the craft — and the city showed up with chopsticks in hand.

The Brief

An authenticity problem, solved with craft.

K-Tang could have chased the wave. They chose not to. Our brief from the kitchen was simple: show the city what K-BBQ actually looks like when nobody's rushing the meat. Eleven creators, zero shortcuts.

"Authenticity doesn't translate. It has to be performed, frame by frame, by people who actually know the food."

Our Approach

One technique, per brief.

We picked creators with Korean food fluency — not the ones with the biggest numbers. Each brief centered on a single technique: the pork bone broth, the kimchi-jjigae, the banchan spread. The result wasn't a campaign. It was a class.

What We Delivered

Restaurant Marketing. Positioned K-Tang as a destination, not a discovery — somewhere Houstonians plan a trip for.

KOL Collaborations. Eleven creators with food-cultural credibility, not vanity numbers.

Social Media Content. Short-form that taught the audience something the algorithm couldn't fake.

The Impact

The banchan got famous.

K-Tang's small-plates program became the unexpected hero of the campaign. Creators came back a second time specifically to film the side dishes. That's a sign of trust in the kitchen, and it's the kind of earned media no paid spend can buy.

Your kitchen has a story.
Houston is ready to hear it.

Whether you're weeks from opening or years in, we can build the campaign that makes the city line up.
